The age of intellectual property has arrived
The age of intellectual property has arrived. The world’s leading companies have assets where more than 80% of them are intangible assets, or valued in intellectual property. In this era, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the patent court and KAIST have joined together to help foster the intellectual property management capabilities of Korean companies. The Ministry of SME’s and Startups provides planning and financial support for the curriculum, the Patent Court provides support through educational practice, and KAIST manages the operation of the education curriculum. In Korea, key institutes joining forces to provide education on intellectual property is not something that has been known to occur. Through this program, companies can develop their intellectual property management skills and contribute in the construction of a strong National intellectual Property base through this process.
